About PPS

How PPS came about...

After many years of driving, maintaining and modifying most Volkswagen models, I found that the most enjoyment came from the VW Polo but there was a distinct lack of 'off the shelf' upgrades available for this model.

VW never designed the Polo for performance, their best effort being the G40 but that was still on the same chassis as their 1ltr base model albeit with slightly better suspension & brakes

This lead me to look at making my own parts. Being an experienced welder & mechanic, this was the easy part! The hard part was finding a practical & economical way to reproduce these parts so that I could supply them to other Polo owners.

Over the years I have developed production methods and sourced reliable component suppliers that have enabled me to manufacture these parts in quantity... hence PPS was born.

The main area of the Polo I identified as needing improving was the front suspension and that is what I concentrated on first. At the current time the main area of PPS's product development is focused on the front chassis braces & front coilover suspension struts.
